 | Our client, a producer of a television motion picture, was sued for copyright | |
| infringement and other claims in connection with musical compositions used in the motion picture. The court granted our motion for summary adjudication, all remaining claims were dismissed, and our client was awarded attorneys fees and costs. |
| Reached an $825,000 settlement for our client, a fashion designer, against a | |
| denim apparel company after intense litigation of trademark infringement claims. The firm was retained after the designer was sued, and filed and litigated a countersuit against the apparel company resulting in the settlement in favor of our client. |
| Our clients, officers of a video distribution company, were sued by another | |
| distribution company for copyright infringement relating to the distribution of foreign films. After motions for summary adjudication which we filed were granted by the court, the plaintiff agreed to settle for much less than it had sought, and the small settlement was fully covered by insurance. |
